Covenant Life Church meets on most Monday nights VIA FACEBOOK from 8-9pm for a free Leadership class beginning October 5, 2020. All are welcome to attend. Please see the schedule below for dates and topics.

Course Description:

This leadership course consists of 10 classes of training and discussion on effective leadership qualities. Topics include discussion on: vision, courage, discernment, focus, generosity, initiative, passion, listening, positive attitude, problem solving, relationships, responsibility, self-discipline, servanthood, and teachable spirit. Also included are discussions regarding character studies highlighting Joseph, Moses, and Abraham.

 

Although there are no materials for this course, the discussion and instruction are based on the following sources: 1) Scripture and the life of Jesus; 2) John Maxwell and the Maxwell Leadership Bible, 3) Leadership principles taken from character studies in the Bible, and 4) Personal experience. The course is free and open to everyone. It will broadcast on most Monday nights via FACEBOOK from October 5th, 2020 through December 21, 2020.

 

Course Relevance:

This course is applicable to everyone because we believe that all in the Kingdom of God are called to some form of leadership. As believers, we called to do the work of an evangelist and influence people for Christ. Whether it is in our home, at work, in the marketplace, or in church, we are Ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). The Lord also tells us that we will rule and reign with Him for eternity (Rev 5:10). Consequently, we believe it is important for every believer to understand biblical principles of leadership so that we can all become better leaders and godly examples for the Kingdom of God.

​The course is available free to all those who desire to attend. Classes are recorded and posted to the CLC Facebook and YouTube pages.
